Distance Reiki
A space for rest, presence, and recovery.
You don't need to be anywhere in particular, or believe in anything in particular. Just give yourself a pause — I'll hold the rest of the space.
What is Reiki?
A simple form of rest
Reiki is a Japanese complementary wellbeing practice. The word Reiki refers to a tradition in which the practitioner works with their hands and attention, with the intention of channelling Reiki energy to the recipient.
In an in-person session, the hands are held lightly on or above the body. In distance Reiki, we're each in our own location, and the session takes place at an agreed time without physical touch.
You settle in comfortably at home, while I carry out the Reiki from my side. You don't need to be on video, concentrate, or do anything in particular during the session.
Reiki is based on a traditional understanding that life energy can be channelled between people. This is part of Reiki's spiritual and energetic framework, and should not be understood as a scientifically proven medical principle.
People experience Reiki differently. Some feel warmth, calm, heaviness, or subtle sensations in the body. Others feel little or nothing in particular. There's no right way to experience a Reiki session.
You don't need to believe in Reiki to book. It's enough to be curious and want to set aside time to rest.
Distance Reiki
Reiki, wherever you already are
Every session is given at a distance. That means you can receive Reiki at home, or anywhere else you feel safe and can be undisturbed.
At the agreed time, you settle in while I carry out the Reiki from my side. You don't need to be on video, concentrate, or do anything in particular during the session.
Distance Reiki is based on the traditional understanding within Reiki that the practice doesn't depend on physical touch, or on practitioner and recipient being in the same place.
You set aside a full hour for yourself, and get to stay lying down, at rest, throughout the session.

Three simple steps
One hour, set aside for you
You make room
Find a quiet place where you can lie down or sit undisturbed. Put your phone away, dim the lights, and make the space comfortable.
You receive
At the agreed time, you settle in and receive Reiki at a distance. You don't need to be on video or do anything in particular.
You stay a while
You stay lying down in stillness throughout the hour, with no need to rush on to anything else. The stillness is part of the session, not something you wait through.
Set aside the full hour for yourself.
About
Welcome. My name is Cecilia.
I offer Reiki because I know first-hand how much it can mean to be given a space where you don't have to be anything or perform in any way.
I came to Reiki during a period when I needed to slow down myself. What I valued most was the simplicity of it – that someone simply held the space, without expectations or big words.
That's what I want to pass on.
Just a quiet place to set down what you're carrying, for a little while.
In my own life, I keep returning to the simple things: meditation, Reiki, nature, the body, and the home around me. I care about how we feel inside ourselves, but also about how the places we live in can support us, calm us, and help us find our way back to what feels true.
I'm a certified Holy Fire® Reiki practitioner, a modern branch within the Usui Reiki tradition. Every session is grounded in this practice.
Warmly, Cecilia
